I am a little surprised that this DVD contain only the concert, and only one bonus is video for the song “Gimme!”.
Alice Cooper is such a colorful character that it begs to look to his dressing room before the concert and show how he changes from Vincent Damon Furnier into Alice Cooper. From a certain point of the show Alice is dressed with t-shirt “Britney Wants Me”. I wonder what he might say about the starlet who apparently wants him and pop in itself.
Before the first song on the stage there is half of the Alice Cooper. Literally. Who wants to see how it’s made? On stage, there is a lot of bloody props, which, after all someone had to create.
Alice Cooper musicians remain anonymous up to the end and are only a background for the star of the evening. It is a pity, because they are not just a boys taken from the street. Each of them could tell a lot of interesting moments from the tour, about their contribution to music, etc..
I do not quite understand why it happened, because the filmmakers of the Eagle Vision has grown accustomed to a certain level of production. Like though from series “Classic Albums”.
And the concert itself as a concert. Music of Alice Cooper’s might be loved or not, and that’s why “Brutally Live” seems to be directed only to fans of Alice. It is a pity, because Alice could be shown so that it more interesting for the different group.
