You have 4 seconds

Posted on March 26, 2007 by Marek

Not the first time, it appears that Internet users are most impatient group. JupiterResearch has published a study of the behavior of Internet users when using online shops.

According to research found that users are able to wait up to 4 seconds per page to load . If the process takes longer, the customer goes away.

The study was on a group of 1058 respondents in the first half of this year. Conclusions as follows:

* slow action negatively affects the reputation and perception of the brand which of course leads to a decline in sales.

* if the page of your store loads slowly you will certainly lose clinets on high positions (directors, ceo, etc.) and those who spend more online than others.

* online store owners should be aware of “4 seconds rule” and optimize the site so that the waiting time was no longer.

In this situation, you should consider investing in a good hosting. Once again, it appears that saving for web hosting is just a sham, and instead of saving, you can record a loss …
