Social networking sites on the world map
Posted on December 22, 2009 by Marek
Techcrunch presented work of Italian writer, blogger and photographer Vincenzo Cosenza who shown the map of the world and the most popular social networking sites on it.
Cosenza has created a summary based on data from Alexa’s and Google Trends.
The results hardly surprised.
In North America, South America, Western Europe, Australia, Africa, Facebook rules, in Brazil – Maktoob, V Kontakte in Russia and in Poland – Nasza-Klasa. Does Facebook beat N-K in Poland? Actually, this question should begin with a “when”. Just that our average N-K user will learn that Farmville exists, and various tests. And find out for sure.
