Think about what you write, because someone from HR reads it

A little over a month ago I wrote that we write on the Internet as if nobody reads it. I evoked an example of people who write about their superiors on Facebook. Well, it turns out, however, that someone is reading. When some time ago I watched a few posts of people on Facebook I was wondering whether an act of desperation and an attempt to relax stress at work (I just know that there is often hard), or a lack of imagination, however. It looks that second option is the correct one.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has published the results of the survey, which should all be given freely denouncing think. Well, the investigation found that 70% of the persons involved in the recruitment said they rejected the candidate, because of what had been found on the Internet.
Frequently mentioned reasons for candidate rejection :
* inappropriate photo / video
* concerns related to candidate lifestyle
* inappropriate comments
“Our research shows that managing your online reputation can be a significant benefit. Everyone should think critically about the image they’re digitally portraying” – wrote on his blog Microsoft’s Peter Cullen.
As is clear from the study not only specialists of recruitment search an informations of candidates in Internet, which should not surprise anyone .
Recruitment specialists, believe that within five years the importance of our online reputation will increase considerably.
The Internet is used by millions of people, places where you can leave your sign there’s a lot. It would be strange that people who are to decide on employment don’t benefit from it. Therefore, without falling into paranoia, and not giving bows idol of political correctness you should think before you press Enter.
